Founder, CHAIRitable
I started CHAIRitable because every time I visited a fundraising event, I noticed there were many empty seats and tables. I knew there had to be a solution to filling these seats in advance to reduce the amount of no-shows and to increase the revenue for the nonprofit. CHAIRitable was born out of that desire to give back and let more professionals enjoy these events that are normally priced out.
How it works
Event is Posted
The nonprofit submits their event and the number of unclaimed tickets.
Professionals Bid
Professionals submit a bid for a ticket on the event they’d like to attend.
Seat is Filled!
When the bid window ends, the highest bidder(s) receive access to the event. One less empty seat in the room!

How does CHAIRitable work?
Nonprofits submit their events and the number of unclaimed tickets that they have for their event. Professionals can bid on those tickets at a price point comfortable to them.
Where will I sit?
If your bid wins, you’re guaranteed a seat! The nonprofit will let you know of your seating arrangements.
What's in it for me?
If you don’t frequent nonprofit fundraisers, then you’re missing out. Not only do you get to support a great cause, but influential corporate leaders sit on the boards of nonprofits and they’re often in attendance. The networking opportunities are endless. That’s your “seat at the table.”
Why can't I sell seats myself?
You may already do this and that’s ok. We’re here to help you fill that gap and connect you with a new donor demographic that may not be able to come at your original ticket price. We ask that you don’t lower your ticket prices for your event so you can recoup maximum profits to support your cause, but to let us simply help you fill presold seats.
How can I ensure who is attending my event?
We require sign-ups with LinkedIn to verify the identify of professionals. Each bid is a donation to your event so we want you to welcome them with open arms. You never know how they may help your nonprofit someday.
